SIMEONE NEEDS A STRIKER IN HIS ATLETICO TEAM

Can we please introduce a new rule?

Teams are not allowed to play without a striker. It's bad for that team, it's bad for the match that is about to take place and it's bad for football.

Simple.

ATLETICO MADE A GREAT MOVE GETTING COSTA BACK

He's back.

After months of procastination(although he claims he always kept fit), the man with the faulty birth certificate, love him or hate him...he's one of the best strikers when he's on his game.

Atletico finally have a striker...and his name ain't Gameiro.

MADRID'S GOALSCORING STREAK IS OVER...TIME TO REACT

Just like with the Undertaker at Wrestlemania....the streak is over.

Real Betis...of all teams, finally put an end to Real Madrid's incredible record of scoring in consecutive games.

Betis!

But that's how it tends to happen. Just like in life, things occur from the most unsuspecting of places.

CAN ZIDANE TRIUMPH AGAIN WITH HIS REAL MADRID?

If there is one certainty in life, that is the fact that things change.

For so long, Barcelona were the team nobody could beat as they enjoyed unrivalled dominance once upon a time in club football.

Love or hate (i hated!) what their brand of football was about, they were deservedly the best team in Europe. UEFALONA or not...

But the pendulum has swung, and the legendary Zidane is behind that shift in power where he will again look to achieve greatness and supremacy with his Real Madrid team.

MESSI CAN STILL LEAD THIS BARCELONA TO LA LIGA GLORY

Messi ain't done yet.

If you thought that Neymar's departure would have deflated his ambitions and he'd merely turn up to games to earn his wage, then you are all gravely mistaken.

His goals against Juventus proved as much, and Messi will want to replicate what he did last season with a Barcelona team that isn't as great as it once was.

Dembele Debuts for Barcelona, And Could Take Them to New Era

He has finally graced the hallowed grounds of the Camp Nou.

Barcelona have a new star in the form of young French winger Ousmane Dembele. The man tasked with replacing the sensational exit of Neymar.

Can he deliver?

Hold the press, pump the brakes.

Can Isco Now be Regarded as World Class?

Is this now the age of Isco?

Has this talented Spaniard who has flirted with being a superstar or even a world class player, finally crossed that threshold where we can put him in that elite category?

Maybe, but not yet.

What Valverde Must Do to Improve Barcelona

So Barcelona's golden generation gets yet another coach, tasked with adding more trophies to the already overflowing cabinet.

His name is Valverde, and with most people not jumping with excitement at his arrival; the man is confident he can take Barcelona into another gear and even make the already incredible Lionel Messi...better.

Is Cristiano Ronaldo's Time Finally Up?

Two back-to-back losses, and two pretty bad performances by the man who they claim is "the best footballer on the planet."

Cristiano may have enjoyed individual success with his tuxedos and personal accolades, but where it matters, on the football pitch, even some of his supporters are beginning to turn against him.

Diego Costa Would have Made Atletico Champions League Winners

Right now, you have to regard Diego Costa in the top three of the best finishers in the world. His record for Chelsea at the moment is outstanding, and he's been winning them games.

He has also improved greatly as a player and has become a very smart lone striker who knows how to hold the ball up, get fouls by being clever with his movement but also deliver for his team, making the right moves in order to get the winning goal.

And he has scored some beauties.

So just think....imagine if he remained at Atletico and was as good as we see him now?
